The secret to reliable HVAC performance? Reliable testing.

We have high standards at Noske Rail and put every unit through rigorous testing as part of our manufacturing, maintenance and overhaul services.

A dedicated thermal testing chamber

The temperature-controlled climactic thermal test chamber is one of the most important rooms in our Palmerston North facility; because itโ€™s where we ensure your HVAC is fit-for-purpose.

We use this chamber to test all new builds, as well as any remanufactured and upgraded equipment.

We like to be thorough, which is why we test the equipment both when it arrives (for baseline results) and before it leaves to confirm improved performance.

Tests we perform here include:

  • Baseline performance
  • Cooling and heating capacity
  • Extreme high-ambient temperatures
  • Low-ambient temperatures
  • Airflow performance

Developing comprehensive testing programs

Noske Rail remain committed to quality products with high performance. To meet these goals, we invest heavily in a range of other performance tests, such as:

  • Power consumption testing
  • Ducting mock-up testing
  • Full car saloon mock-up testing
  • Key component endurance testing

We also work with external partners to provide EMI/EMC testing, shock and vibration testing, air filter performance testing and finite element analysis (FEA).

Supplying HVAC and cooling equipment with confidence

Testing helps us provide equipment with confidence, knowing they are up to the challenge of high-ambient temperatures and harsh conditions.
